Ali Meghani

Ali Meghani is a graduate from University of Pune, India with a degree in architecture in 2008. He is a registered architect with Council of Architecture in India. In the years following graduation, he has worked in Gandhidham, India, for 18 months in Cheshta Architects, one of India’s renowned architectural consultants in the Kachchh region.

In December 2009 he moved to Toronto, Ontario for his post graduate studies in Project Management at Humber College. In September 2012, the Canadian Architectural Certification Board assessed his undergraduate studies and certified that he attained the education standard required for admission to a provincial architectural association in Canada. Following that he was accepted as an intern architect with Saskatchewan Association of Architects. In July 2013 he was certified as Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute.

Ali has worked for the University of Saskatchewan, SNC Lavalin, Darrel Epp Architect Ltd. and for Magnus Construction Ltd. Through his work experience, Ali has honed his skills of designing and presentation along with developing methods to handle projects successfully. Inspired by his work experience and the skills learnt on the job site, Ali decided to transition his career path into Urban Planning. Presently he is pursuing Masters at School of Urban and Regional Planning at Queen’s University, Kingston, ON.
